I was born in Norsjö, Sweden but grew up mostly as an expatriate Swede, in Montreal and Hong Kong. My summers were Swedish though. That's why my favorite word is ö!

I came to Maine to go to Bowdoin College and have been a happy camper here ever since. I'm a longtime public school teacher, recently retired.
